Porch Sitting
I have always loved porch sitting as a time to reflect by myself or to have good conversation with friends. By “good” I don’t mean “deep” I mean any conversation that feels good. What feels good includes sharing ideas, telling stories, contemplating, and laughing.
I do believe that porch sitting will change the world.
My friends and I noticed, over the years, that if one person joined me on the porch or ten… it was always the perfect number.
My Journey
I raised 2 very successful and caring children who now make more money than I do and teach me so much.
I spent 30 years growing an independent, clothing consignment shop to become 8,000 square feet of sustainability, creativity, and community.
Over a period of 8 years, I transformed a half-empty, bankrupt shopping plaza into a thriving center 100% filled with locally-owned businesses.
In 2020, I became serious about realizing my dream to buy a fixer-upper in Key West, FL. I am currently living that dream.
Dreaming and Doing
The majority of the fixing up of my Key West Fixer-Upper has been completed. My house is now my home.
